Happy days with a slight 罪悪感

ようやくすべての授業の中間テストが終了し、期末テストまではまだ長い（？）ので、最近の週末はほとんど勉強していません。
サンフランシスコにショッピングしたり
Law schoolの空いてる教室に２,３時までBang!とかマフィアをしたり(賢くなったような気がする=)）
そしてある大事なPaperが終わってないにも関わらず、今週末にラスべガスとグランドキャニオンに行くことにしました。男の子ドライバー２人と女の子５人（！）、安全を第一に無事に行って戻れることを祈っています。そしてグランドキャニオン！！！！！ラスベガス！！！！９時間も２人で交替しながら運転してくれる人にほんとにありがとうの一言です！！
青春したことのない私にとってはかけがえの無い経験なりそうです。

ちょっと前まで論文やテストがうまくいかず泣きながら寝る夜もありましたが、こういう楽しい日々も過ごせるんじゃないかと（遅いですが）気がついてほんとによかったです。
後期の交換を辞退までしようと考えていた自分に今思えば情けないです。
もう２１の大人なのに、周りに自分を思ってくれている友達がたくさんいるのに。

論文頑張ります。
そしてLA旅行も近いし、１１月が大好き！！

週末の予定

初めての連休なわけでこういう計画を立ててみました。

明日はSFでショッピング
明後日はお勉強
明々後日はシアトルマリーナズとの野球試合にいく予定でございます

イチロー〜Wait for me~I am coming~!!（野球のルールすらわからないのに親しげにイチローなんか呼ぶんじゃねーよ＝＝って言わないでください。日本人のふりをして応援して参りますから）

交換留学報告書に書くべきこと

三番目発見

４年ぶりにテニスをしました。
設備もちゃんとしていますし、何より無料です。ほんとにただなんです。江坂に住んでいた時、近くにテニスコートがあってそこを借りるには最低でも一時間２５００円以上はしました。

The very first party in the States.

Exactly as that in the movie.
And my friends seem to have a very good time there, but I didn't know we are going so I am carrying my big bag and wearing a T-shirt and jeans, and they do not fit in the party. Everybody dresses up and girls are sparkling~ I try to break into the whole atmosphere at the party but obviously drinking is not my thing
So I decide to leave, after staying there doing nothing but talking with different people only to repeat 'Where r u from. Oh I am from Japan, but I am a Chinese. Oh how's that come?' for 40 minutes.
A German student from St Andrews, who I knew this afternoon when I was talking to Winnie and Yoko and Sissy on the bench in the hallway, kindly walked me back to the I-house (where I currently live), I start to think maybe leaving early is not a good thing to do.

Anyways. This is my very first party in my life.
Didn't really enjoy it but having a gentleman walk me back home is at least something that is good to have in memory.

Ranch 99～九九大华Asian Supermarket~

Bay areaにはアジア系の移民が多いのはおそらく誰でも聞いてるはず
だがここまでアジアンフードの品揃いの多いスーパーを見たらまず驚くことでしょう

まずは野菜類
さすがカリフォルニア！日本の一般のスーパーが比べ物に成らないほど種類が多い
しかも値段も断然に安い！もう日本に暮らしているみなさんは本当にかわいそうに思えるくらい安かったです＝＝



みそコーナー、インスタントみそ汁を大量に持参してきた私、馬鹿！！

韓国のキムチや日本や中国の漬け物＝こだわりがあれば別ですが、日本と同じ生活は簡単にできる

Had sushi tonight~!

Had sushi at Joshu-ya tonight with my new friends from New zealand(2 Taiwanese), Taiwan(of course Taiwanese), Canada(my roommate, Chinese) and Italy (Chinese too)
Well I have to apologize first because I might have said something wrong about Japan...about のれん anyways doesn't matter...

My roommate is so nice that I was really relived to see her today and days before when we first met at the orientation~ We went shopping for wash detergent water (by the way CRYSTAL GEYSER 1 GALON is 1.25$.....come on...) and we talked a lot.
But now she has to have this long distance relationship with her boyfriend (yes, she has a nice boyfriend) and she might feel lonely. I guess I can just do what I can do to help.

Oh, yes, the New zealand Taiwanese is the guy who helped me at the hiking tour~
Also I met the guy who's from Taiwan University who I have met at the check-in meeting.
I think you really do get chance to see people you didn't have proper introduction at the first meet here. That is really good.

Anyways..Going to SF tomorrow~!! Yeh~!!

留学準備

８月に入りようやく授業もテストも終わり、いよいよ本格的に留学の準備をスタート
渡航日が確定してからちょこちょこ服を買いためたりはしましたし、授業に役立ちそうな本を図書館で借りたりはしていましたがやはり読む時間がなく、２、３ページを読んですぐあきらめることも多かったです。ほんとにここままで行っちゃっていいのかと不安だらけです。
